1) Shipment Processing Time
a. All purchases at shop.sharpusa.com are “authorized and captured” immediately upon checkout. Sharp Home Electronics Company of America, a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation (“Sharp”) requires a credit card verification for each order. The verification is almost always immediate but could take up to 3 business days.
b. All orders placed online appear in the My Account section of shop.sharusa.com. If you do not see your order, then Sharp did not receive it, and you will need to return to your Shopping Cart and complete the Checkout process again.
2) Shipment Confirmation and Order Tracking
a. Sharp uses UPS to ship packages. You will receive a shipping confirmation email that will confirm which carrier service level was used for each order.
b. All shipments receive a tracking number from UPS. You will receive the tracking number via email from UPS. If you are having trouble tracking a package, or have an issue with delivery, please contact UPS directly. Sharp is not responsible for tracking packages and cannot assist with shipping and delivery issues.
3) Shipping Rates and Delivery Estimates
a. Shipping and handling charges are based on either the products purchased or subtotal of your order and the shipping method selected. Special promotions and offers may reduce or eliminate shipping charges, but handling fees may still apply.
b. The estimated delivery date is based on the shipping method chosen. Shipping dates are based on business days; they do not include weekends or holidays.
c. UPS orders placed and processed by 12PM noon CST typically ship the same day. Orders placed and processed after this time will typically ship the following day. Typically:
1. UPS 2nd Day Air shipments arrive within two business days after order processing.
2. UPS Standard Ground shipments take 4-7 business days to arrive after order processing.
3. Sharp is not responsible for packages that are not delivered in the expected shipping time frame. Further, it may take 1-2 business days to process the order completely. If your package is not delivered on time, please contact UPS (1-800-742-5877). Sharp will not refund additional shipping charges in the case that UPS fails to meet expected shipping times.
4. Holiday Shipments
i. Seasonal delays may occur during high volume months.
5) Canceling or Modifying an Order
a. Before you place your order, please review the contents and the total of your shopping basket. Once you place your order no further changes can be made.
6) Shipping Restrictions:
a. Sharp offers shipping within the continental United States.
b. Sharp does not ship to addresses containing P.O. boxes.
c. You will be notified at checkout if Sharp is unable to ship specific items to the address that you have selected.
d. Please make sure that all of your personal information is correct before placing an order with Sharp. Sharp is not responsible for packages that are refused upon delivery or deemed undeliverable by the carrier based on the address you provided.
7) Lost or Damaged
a. Sharp is not liable for any products lost during shipping. Please save all packaging material and damaged goods and have your order information handy.
